D&M Fire Safety Systems Inc, a locally owned Saskatoon company is seeking a fire suppression / fire extinguisher technician to start immediately. This is an entry level position. Training and certification supplied.
The successful candidate must be a professional, highly motivated, self-starter with a keen attention to detail and the ability to safely execute high quality work on-time, every time. You will bring with you strong communication and customer service skills, with an ability to work both collaboratively with team members, as well as independently, to deliver high quality service and support to our customers. Given the service and solutions focus of our business, you will also be able to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and flexibility to address changing situations and priorities. A mechanical aptitude and a demonstrated mindset towards continuous learning, as well as an ability to use/learn technology solutions in the execution of their work is a must. You must also possess a valid drivers license and be able to travel to and work out of remote client sites. Overtime may be necessary; therefore, flexibility in hours of work will be required. Some overnight travel may be required.
A candidate with a minimum of 2+ years field experience across various industries, such as a mechanical/maintenance trade would be preferred. Fire service certifications and/or suppression training would be considered an asset. Combinations of education in a related field and experience will be considered.
This opportunity is a Full Time Permanent Position, Monday - Friday
