Are you excited about a career in Health care? We are on the hunt for new members to join our team! We are looking for a friendly face who can work in a high paced medical office. Must be task-oriented and self-motivated. Willingness to work as a team member who pays full attention to detail is a must.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
1.Welcome and register patients seeking medical attention in person or by telephone.
2. Proper telephone etiquette.
3. Making Appointments and organizing daily schedules.
4. Billing
5. Organizing OR bookings and schedules.
6. All Administrative duties such as transcription, filing and faxing necessary to maintain proper patient records according to Health Information Privacy Act (HIPA).
7. Prepares correspondence from dictation; drafts and originates correspondence on designated subjects, including follow-up
8. Communication on a regular and organized way between patients and referring physicians in a
consequential manner.
10. Daily cleaning duties & Equipment sterilization.
11. Monitor & Replenish all supplies necessary to run the office.
12. Physician assisting & chaperoning as required.
13. Daily mail & postage duties.
14.Reconciles accounts payables/receivables, and produces day sheets and financial statements on regular and timely basis.
15. Punctual and able to adapt to flexible hours of work.

Experience as a medical office assistant is an asset however, you will receive additional training. The right person will have a clean criminal background check.
