Description

P.Machibroda Engineering Ltd. is a Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental engineering firm based in Saskatoon, SK. We are currently seeking a Mechanic to join our team.

-The incumbent will perform major overhauls, minor repairs and welding to various equipment; repair or overhaul engine and power train component parts; carry out road tests; perform preventative maintenance inspections; service various vehicles and equipment; write repair orders and parts order requests. As well as perform minor repairs and welding to PMEL owned and operated equipment, ranging from pickups, skid steers, drilling equipment, stationary power units and small equipment.
-The successful candidate will have considerable working knowledge of the standard methods, tooling equipment and safety practices as they relate to heavy equipment and automobile repair industry. As well as strong skills in electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting as it relates to the trade.
-The ability to communicate with courtesy and tact in order to obtain and/or distribute routine data or information to internal staff members. At times probing for information and clarification.
-Ability to comprehend and carry out written and oral instructions.

The minimum training and experience required for this position:
- Completion of Grade 12.
- Possession of a valid Class 3 Drivers License with Air Endorsement an asset.
- Clean Drivers Abstract.
- Basic welding knowledge of equipment and tooling with related experience.
