Position and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the delivery of practical and classroom training to site personnel. This will include, but not limited to, demonstrating underground and surface mobile equipment skills to trainees, delivering training through a variety of methods, providing coaching and feedback, evaluating on-the-job performance while identifying training gaps, and providing general support to the training team as required.
You will also maintain good communication and co-operation with various departments and stakeholders at Key Lake and McArthur River to ensure mobile equipment training requirements and goals are achieved.
This is a 12-month term position.
Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent
Diploma or certificate in a related field
Minimum seven years of relevant underground and surface equipment work experience
Equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered
Must be able to work underground
Strong presentation and communication skills are essential
Strong computer skills and knowledge of computer programs (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Work a 2 week in/2 week out rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Assets:
Previous industrial work experience
Certified operator of multiple types of equipment
Understand all aspects of the Systematic Approach to Training and be able to perform these functions
Determine training requirements and develop and implement training requests
Contribute to the development of training materials
Experience in SAP
