Job Description: Under the direction of the Manager of ER/ICU/Respiratory, the RN will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care in the emergency and ICU department.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Critical Care Nursing Certificate
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Pediatric Advanced Life Supports (PALS) is preferred. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) is preferred. It would be desirable if you possess a knowledge of the principles, methods and techniques involved in performing nursing services relating to the care of patients in an emergency and ICU department. This knowledge is commonly obtained through previous experience in emergency and critical care nursing. Non-qualified may be considered.
