Description

Are you Mechanically Inclined? Do you have a passion for doing repairs and keeping things in good condition? If So, we need to talk!
During the Hockey season this position must work shift rotations in our arena. This will include days, afternoons and weekend shifts with the possibility of working stat holidays and overtime. The successful candidate would be responsible for the following tasks and activities.
Maintenance & preventative maintenance work
Service requests & building inspections
Perform all regular arena maintenance and duties including but not limited to;
o Grounds work including Snow removal, Painting, plumbing, minor electrical work, carpentry, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC)
Operation of Olympia & Ice Maintenance tools (training will be provided)

What we need from you
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
One (1) to two (2) years maintenance experience is required.
Mechanically inclined with experience in all aspects of general maintenance and repair.
Must be willing to work within a variety of conditions
Must be safety conscious, act with integrity, accountable, collaborative and flexible.
Must be able to operate skid steer
Must have a clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector and a valid drivers license
