SUMMARY
The Improvest Specialist works with swine production farms and veterinary practices to ensure successful, sustained implementation of the IMPROVEST technology. The role focuses on management of all aspects of the Improvest Process in order to ensure its full understanding, compliance, quality and success with host farm. This position is located in the East-Central region of Saskatchewan.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides high quality Improvest injection, inspection and documentation service to host farms
Delivers staff education and training to ensure full compliance, quality and success of Improvest technology within host farms.
Uses the Endorsis (software) in order to manage Improvest injection, inspection and pig shipping schedules and documentation, as well as to generate reports.
Maintains strong understanding of host farm systems, priorities and culture to ensure incumbent fit and success.
Establishes and maintains communication and collaboration with applicable veterinary practices, host farm management and staff, and other stakeholders to ensure sound working relationships and to facilitate implementation of Improvest.
For each host farm, develops an Improvest process plan and manages the plan to ensure successful, sustained implementation of Improvest and achievement of Improvest goals in host farms. This includes the potential to manage an injection team.
Works closely with the Zoetis Swine Business Unit Team members and other Improvest Specialists to ensure strategic fit of work plans and optimum Improvest success.
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
1. Excellent communication skills and strong ability to work with various personality types in a team environment
2. Strong computer skills including Excel, Word and Zoetis systems or ability to learn Zoetis systems
