About the role:
The Metal Sales/Customer Service Representative is knowledgeable in various metal recognition, is able to measure and to cut various metals accurately, is able to manipulate heavy pieces of metal safely, and is able to serve customers politely and accurately.
This is a full-time, permanent role with a comprehensive benefits package.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist customers with their material orders
Quote material pricing to customers in store and by phone
Enter orders into computer system
Saw material to customer specifications
Provide high quality customer service
Unload trucks, receive and put away stock
Able to perform some heavy lifting
Skills Required:
Good knowledge of basic math and measurements (inches/feet)
Good communication skills
Training will be provided, but previous experience with the following would be an asset:
Band Saw operation
Forklift operation
