Kristian Electric is looking for an Overhead Crane Service Technician to join our Saskatoon branch. As a Crane Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and the installation of overhead cranes and hoists. The successful candidate will be:
Performing preventative and corrective maintenance of overhead cranes and equipment
Assisting in the installation of overhead cranes and corresponding equipment
Conducting full inspections of overhead crane systems, electric hoists, and manual hoists at customer facilities
Troubleshooting equipment to diagnose deficiencies and determine repairs required
Repairing or replacing defective parts
Cleaning, lubricating, adjusting, and performing other maintenance work on lifting equipment
Servicing attachments and working tools.
Requirements:
Must have a minimum of 4 years or 8,000 hours of documented overhead crane service and/or inspection experience.
Journeyman Electrician or Millwright
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Must have valid drivers license and a drivers abstract, evidencing a clean driving record and a non-graduated drivers license.
