Job Description
Maintain a welcoming and clean environment ensuring the safety of the children at all times
Must be caring, loving, approachable and develop relationships with each child
Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
Provide opportunities for children to choose from a variety of activities
Provide a safe nurturing environment for children to learn and explore
Be passionate and be able to supervise a group of children
Qualifications
Grade 12 or equivalent
Must have at least one year experience working with children in a work environment or a home setting
Valid First Aid/CPR, WHIMIS and Food Safety Handlers Certificate is an asset
ECE certificate preferred but not required
Excellent verbal, written communication and public relations skills;
Having a valid Drivers License and a reliable means of transportation is preferred
Must provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check and a Drivers Abstract.
Must be Legally eligible to work within Canada

- Own transportation
- Valid driver's licence
