Description

Details:
o    Operates all heavy equipment for the City. This includes the grader, excavator, skid steer, hydro-vac, loader, backhoe, 3A tandem and sewer flushing equipment.

Qualifications:     
o    Successful completion of grade 12 an asset.
o    Valid Saskatchewan Class 3A Driver's License is a must, Class 1 an asset.
o    Heavy equipment operator ticket
o    1 year minimum experience as excavator and grader operator.
o    Able to operate dump trucks, street sweeper, loader.
o    Knowledge of equipment maintenance.
o    Ability to work with minimal supervision.
o    Must be able and willing to perform all duties of the job in various weather conditions for extended periods.
o    Good working knowledge of the Workplace Safety & Health Regulations.
o    Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and productive working relationships.
o    Good communication and comprehension ability - written and oral.
o    Willingness to work overtime.
o    Satisfactory results from a criminal record and drivers abstract.

Wages:
are as per collective agreement  starts at $24.77 in 2021, plus benefits.

Hours:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. with some overtime as required. Start date is as soon as possible.
