Deep South Personal Care Home is a 24 bed private care facility in the town of Pangman.
Requirements:
Previous experience within a Care Home is a must.
Must be able to successfully report to next shift and vice versa.
Have a good knowledge and understanding of Resident Records (what to do and how to do it)
Work well independently and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Successful multi-tasker
Be able to follow direction and give direction to keep everyone accountable.
Be willing to ask questions and continue learning.
Certification Requirements:
Have a clear Criminal Record(Vulnerable Sector)
Already have Continuing Care Aide Certificate or obtain Personal Care Worker Course
Valid First Aid/CPR/AED certificate
Med Assist Course
Food Safety Certificate
Have or Obtain WHMIS, TLR and PART
All courses (except CCA) must be obtained within 3 months of hire
Continue education with courses at least every 2 years.
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
Security and Safety
- Criminal record check (abstract)
