Description

Reporting to the Director of Program and Community Services, the Home Care RN will be responsible for the assessment, coordination and provision of nursing care to clients living in their own homes.  

As a member of the Home and Community Care Team you will assist in the supervision of home health aides, mentor nursing students, and participate in activities which promote the health of individuals and communities and further develop and enhance the Home and Community Care service.  

Applicants must possess:
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing
- current registration with SRNA
- Current CPR
- Valid class 5 licence
- CPIC & Vulnerable Sectors check.

Preferred applicants will have:
-nursing experience in acute or home care
- excellent communication skills, both oral and
  written
- organizational and coordination skills
- ability to work autonomously (a self starter)
- understanding of and respect for First Nations
   culture and traditions
- demonstrated computer skills
