Bourgault Industries is looking for a Tier IV Janitorial Supervisor to join our team in St. Brieux to lead the Housekeeping/ Janitorial team to success by coaching, counseling, leading, and motivating.

Responsibilities:
-Plan and organize housekeeping/janitorial tasks in order to ensure the cleanliness of Bourgaults offices and production facilities
-Provide leadership and assign work to team members, taking into account each individuals abilities
-Organize the work by ensuring materials and equipment necessary to do the job are in place
-Provide assistance to team members in the effectiveness of their methods by demonstrating tasks and by checking the quality of their work
-Guide team members on how to work safely and advise Maintenance & Facilities Leader of major safety concerns
-Conduct regular quality audits on work preformed
-Manage, plan, and organize annual shut-down cleaning activities for all facilities
-Develop and maintain a Continuous Improvement culture focusing on eliminating waste and increasing value for our customers
-Perform hands-on duties, when time permits

Skills and Qualifications:
-Develop procedures and instructions for team members to use to ensure work is completed safe and effectively
-Work with Junior staff providing mentorship and direction
-Have an in depth understanding of the buildings, equipment, tools and supplies required for the housekeeping team
-Exhibit well developed communication skills and a positive attitude
-Possess a deep knowledge of cleaning and cleaning processes
-Strong organizational skills
-Committed to continual learning and development
-Willingness to be flexible to work in a wide variety of jobs and conditions
