Southeast College, one of Saskatchewan's Top Employers, is looking for a facilitator to join their faculty.
The facilitator will coordinate and deliver a career and essential skills program that is designed to help participants build their confidence and skills to take the next step in their career or education journey. The goal is to help participants reduce barriers to employment or to be prepared to study at the Adult 10/12 level. You will be responsible for creating and delivering core program content, as well as arranging specialty guest speakers or workshops.
Core program content includes:
1) Personal Life Management (well-being and support systems).
2) Employment Readiness & Workplace Skills (resume and interview development, identify potential career fields, labour standards, job placements, etc.).
3) Literacy Enhancement & Academic Preparation (basic literacy, math, and computer skills)
Qualifications
* Bachelors Degree in human or social services or similar. Examples include social worker, counselling, psychology or education. Education equivalency for candidates who are life coaches, mental health or addictions support persons (or similar) may be considered.
* Over 2 years related experience.
* Proven ability to perform work independently and be self-managed with a minimum of direct supervision.
* Experience working with First Nations and adult learners is required.
* Above average computer skills in the Microsoft Office suite.
