Job Description: Under the direction of the Pharmacist - Degree Senior, the Pharmacist - Degree is committed to the integration of knowledge and skill in the provision of quality client-focused pharmacy services within the SHA (former Heartland Health Region). The incumbent is responsible for all medication-related needs of all clients (including Home Care and Community Based Services) throughout the former HHR, the provision of drug information to physicians and other health care professionals, and assistance in the implementation an
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacists
Certificate from an accredited Hospital Pharmacy Residency program or equivalent experience an asset
Certified in Chemotherapy Administration for the Community Oncology Program (COPS) through the Saskatchewan Cancer Center
Membership in a National Professional Association (eg., CSHP, CPhA, and CCCP) is an asset
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Commitment to continuing professional development
Articulates well the theory and knowledge related to pharmaceutical care
Ability to identify, prevent and solve drug-related problems
Ability to directly interact with clients or their representative to resolve issues pertinent to clients pharmaceutical care

Ability to train new pharmacy staff as well as pharmacy practicum students in a positive manner
