Description

General Duties Include:
- bookkeeping, management of general and trust accounts and general ledgers, deposits, bank reconciliation, external deposit accounts, accounts payable and receivable, year end records
- coordinate and manage bi-weekly payroll with outsourced company
- manage and coordinate office equipment and supplies, daily back-ups and website
- assist lawyers with file management and document preparation
- Dealing with clients and the public on a consistent and professional basis
- General office duties such as phone, reception, and clerical

Skills & Abilities:
- strong time management and problem solving abilities
- ability to think independently with particular attention to detail and accuracy
- proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows
- familiarity with office equipment such as scanner, photocopier, dictaphone and fax
- strong accounting and bookkeeping skills

Requirements:
-at least two years experience working in an office environment
-experience/knowledge of real estate and online process associated with ISC and corporations branch is an asset;
- familiarity with PCLaw or other accounting  software is also an asset
-preference will be given to candidates with experience in a law firm environment and some post-secondary training in office /paralegal/administration although a combination of experience and training will be considered
