Description

The ideal candidate for this role would be an expert communicator who understands the importance and impact of social media marketing with a strong command of social media platforms. You will be responsible for real-time, daily interactions with our online community.

What you'll do:
Plan and execute brand-aligned social media. Monitor and engage with our social communities across all customer-facing marketing channels. Oversee and engage with comments on promoted posts and paid ads as appropriate. Collaborate with our Manager, Digital Marketing to ensure organic and paid social media plans, initiatives, and content are aligned. Proactively bring forward ideas for social content. Create original content according to brand standards and adapt content as needed. Measure social media performance, identify social media consumer insights, and provide recommendations for ad optimization.

What you'll need:
-Minimum three years of experience in social media marketing, marketing and/or tourism or a combination of experience and a certificate, diploma, or degree in a marketing related field.
-Advanced knowledge and experience in creating, maintaining, analyzing, and growing social accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
-Experience with Tik Tok and Instagram Reels would be considered an asset.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Strong organization, time, and project management skills.
-Superior attention to detail.
-Strong interpersonal skills.
-Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure.
-Strong understanding of social media publishing standards, content sharing, creation, and adhering to brand standards.

This position may require evening and weekend work, and some travel.
