Spark People Solutions is currently seeking an Office/Operations Manager on behalf of Tinkers Welding, based in Moose Jaw, SK. This role is both administrative and technical.
Duties:
Engage our customer base by handling all inquiries including providing assistance to help to develop a job or project scope
Manage the manual work order system
Assist in scheduling work and keep customers informed of the status of their job
Order steel, commercial items and consumables on a weekly or as required
Update the steel and component price list
Produce and send invoices
Estimate jobs under a $2000 with the use of price list and time estimates
Fill small cut steel orders
May assist in some production
Interested candidates must have excellent communication skills and enjoy working with the public. Preference given to those with experience working in a steel fabrication facility.
