ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK I

LOCATION: HEAD OFFICE, REGINA, SK
JAY'S TRANSPORTATION GROUP LTD. is a subsidiary of The Mullen Group and is one of the largest household moving, storage and freight transportation companies in Saskatchewan. We provide direct freight service to over 550 locations in the province, and as an agent for Atlas Van Lines, we offer local and long-distance moving services.

Responsibilities:
    Daily upkeep of A/P email inbox
    Verify all accounts payable for processing  ensure authorization is received and correct document attached (using Synergize application)
    Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
    Coding payables
    Data entry into system and checking for accuracy
    Maintain vendor database and verify vendor statements
    Complete weekly EFT run and cheque run  assembly and preparation for mailing
    Filing
    Fuel reporting

Qualifications:
    Previous accounts payables or accounting experience is considered an asset.
    Attention to detail is a must
    Must have high quality interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
    Ability to adapt to changing and redefining situations, needs and job scope.
    Excellent computer skills  Word, Excel
    Truck Mate & Synergize experience an asset
    Strong organizational and time management skills
    Be able to multi-task and be willing to learn
