DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Location: Moose Jaw, SK              
Position: Full-time Term (6 month term)                
Posting Closing Date: September 19, 2021
Position starts effective October 8, 2021

Ranch Ehrlo's Family Treatment Program in Moose Jaw is seeking to fill one full-time term Family Treatment Worker position. There is a possibility of term extension.

The Family Treatment Worker provides home-based family services and support for family care functions including; utilizing supporting, role-modelling, and adequate parenting and pro-social skills, budgeting, household management, and meeting healthcare needs.  The Family Treatment Worker models a safe, nurturing, and structured living environment.

Qualifications
Education and Professional Certification
  Completion of a high school diploma.

Experience
Up to one (1) year of experience working with children, youth, and/or families.

Skills and Characteristics
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
Services
Assist participants in day-to-day functioning.  Teach the family unit life skills such as self care, cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and positive behaviours.

Leadership
Provide direction, guidance, and mentorship to new employees, potential employees, practicum students, and volunteers.

Management of Resources
Identify required resources for treatment plans.

Safety
Maintain, promote, and reinforce safe work habits, practices, and procedures.

Additional Requirements
The incumbent is responsible for completing all mandatory training requirements for the position as per agency policy and guidelines.

Employees must hold a class five (5) novice two (2) or higher drivers license and be eligible for coverage under our commercial auto insurance policy.

Wage range for this position is $22.70 to $29.35 per hour.
