Educational Assistants (Jordans Principle)  LSSD Virtual School

Temporary, part time, 3 hours per school day, 190 days per school year, commencing as soon as possible to June 30, 2022.  Our successful candidates will focus on supporting various student programming at different grade levels.

This position is dependent on Jordans Principle funding and attendance of the student for which the funding was applied. If funding is withdrawn or if the student discontinues attendance, the employment contract may end.

The successful candidates must possess well developed interpersonal skills, have the ability to take initiative and work independently with a positive and supportive attitude in a team environment.
Preference will be given to individuals with a post-secondary education holding an EA Certificate through Saskatchewan Polytechnic or equivalent, or comparable education and training.
The starting hourly wage for this position is $18.63 (depending on education). Benefits and a matched pension are available and in accordance with the current CUPE agreement.
