F&L Concrete Services LTD. is located in Estevan, SK and has been in the construction/concrete business for over 32 years. We are now accepting applications for a Heavy Duty Mechanic to service, repair and maintain our fleet and equipment.
Duties:
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Check heavy construction equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
- Inspect, repair and service trucks, Tractors and trailers
- Inspect, repair and service to on / off road equipment and rental equipment such as lifts, scissor lifts, air compressors etc. as assigned
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment
- Service attachments and working tools such as plate tampers, jackhammers, buckets, blades etc.
- Order Parts for repairing and maintaining equipment
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical components.
- The ability to diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical problems with minimum vehicle downtime
- Demonstrated ability to work alone in fast paced environment & a team player
