The Short Order Cook is responsible for preparing menu items within the casino, ensuring quality, timing, consistency and portion control, and contributes to the overall cleanliness and effectiveness of the kitchen operation. The position must ensure safe food handling practices and procedures are applied. The Short Order Cook washes dishes, places clean items in storage areas, and removes trash along with completing assigned paperwork. The position acts as a representative of SaskGaming by engaging guests as per service standards. The Cook reports to the Chef de Partie.
