This position is located in Melville

Caleb Village is a 94 suite seniors independent living facility, offering residents 3 homecooked meals each day.
We're seeking an additional Cook to join our Kitchen team.

Duties include:
-preparation of quality meals and baking according to a posted menu
-oversee, assist with the service of food
-relieve the Head Cook and perform necessary related duties
-assist in orientation and training of new staff
-clean, sanitize cooking areas and kitchen equipment
-perform other duties as required

Experience is preferred, however this position will have the opportunity to train with our Red Seal chef, so a solid knowledge of food prep and a desire to learn are taken in to consideration
