We are looking to hire immediately for permanent full time work.
The Opportunity:
The purpose of the Drill Crew Labourer is to assist in the placement of conduit and utility cables.
This position works outdoors in both residential and commercial environments.
What You Will be Doing:
Working as a part of a team to install fibre optic cable and conduit
Assisting direction drillers and hydrovac operators.
Daylighting utilities
Operating vibratory plow
Landscape repair and remediation
Ability to perform other routine maintenance work as required is an asset
Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
What You Need to Succeed:
Grade 12 or equivalent
Valid Drivers' License
Must be able to pass criminal record check
Experience operating construction and/or landscaping equipment is an asset
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Nice to have:
Experience in a telecom or utilities environment
Experience running construction or earthworks equipment.
Ability to perform minor mechanical maintenance
