Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct supervision of Maintenance Foremen, Maintenance Planner and Lead Hands with respect to department personnel, cost, delivery, scheduling and department operations
Oversee the full scope of routine preventative maintenance (PM) programs, utilization of CMMS and work order systems to minimize downtime, reduce cost of repairs and extend the life of company assets
Coordinate with all departments in the purchase, scheduling, repair and installation activities related to site equipment
Examines reasons for equipment failures alongside Maintenance Team, performs key focus analysis, and provides direction to Maintenance

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a ticketed trade leadership role, or similar environment required
Minimum of 5 years experience in a Maintenance Leadership Role
Possession of a valid Trade Technician Certificate or an interprovincial Red Seal Certification preferred
Engineering background or relevant post-secondary education an asset
