You will be responsible for data entry and account reconciliation for many clients. You will also prepare and submit GST, PST and source deduction remittances as required and may also have clients requiring bi-weekly or monthly payroll services. Experience using different bookkeeping programs (Sage/Simply Accounting, Quickbooks Desktop, Quickbooks Online and AgExpert) is preferred. You will also be familiar with the Microsoft Office suite of programs. Excellent problem solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently are required. This job requires excellent time-management skills, as you will have deadlines to meet and some overtime will be required during our busy season. You must have great customer service skills, and be able to communicate well both verbally and in writing. Experience with personal and corporate income tax, TaxPrep, Caseware and Caseview are a definite asset.
