Facility: COMMUNITY HEALTH (MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES)
Job Description: The incumbent is this position works as an interdisciplinary team member assesses, diagnoses and implements treatment of speech and/or language remediation programs to the preschool populations. In addition, provides consultative, public education, and parent training services.

The incumbent in this position directly reports to the Supervisor of ASD program or his/her designate.
Required Qualifications

Valid Class 5 driver's license
Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology
Registered or eligible for registration with the Canadian Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (CASLPA)
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (SASLPA)
Experience
One year post-graduate work experience desired, preferably in an outpatient setting.  Experience in providing direct therapeutic services to children with communication disorders.  
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to travel both within the region and provincially
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to conduct client assessments and engage in effective treatment planning
Demonstrate responsible decision making through the application of knowledge, critical thinking and sound clinical, legal and ethical practice
Commitment to continuing professional development
Excellent assessment, diagnostic and intervention skills
Ability to make sound judgments regarding client care
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
