Description

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, this position is primarily responsible for providing front-line library service at the North Battleford Library and will receive training for all circulation and office-related duties performed by front-line staff members. In addition, as a valued member of the Headquarters team, the position performs other clerical duties as assigned and will receive cross-training to cover other Headquarters positions.

Required:
    Completion of Grade 12
    Strong computer and keyboarding skills
    Experience using MS Office software
    Ability to adapt quickly to new programs, procedures, policies and operational demands
    Strict attention to detail
    Outgoing, energetic and service-oriented
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    Demonstrated ability to work independently
    Ability to lift and carry library materials weighing up to 15 kilograms on a daily basis
    Ability to reach a range of shelves between 5 cm and 200 cm above floor
    Valid Saskatchewan Drivers License with Abstract
    Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check

Hours:    37.5 hours per week

Wage:    $16.31/hours per CUPE Local 3077 Collective Agreement
