This role will be responsible for the design, development, revision, and implementation of SCSA instructor-led training courses that are informative, engaging, and consistent with SCSA mandate and adult learning principles; identifying opportunities for course improvements and new courses; and providing safety training-related customer service.
This position is well suited to a lifelong learner who enjoys communicating with a myriad of stakeholders and collaborating with a team to achieve a common goal. The ability to self-manage, stay organized while handling multiple tasks and projects and bring ideas to the team will be key to success in this position.
Responsibilities include:
*Design, develop and implement SCSA courses by collaborating with internal and external subject matter experts, 3rd party vendors, SCSA membership, and industry partners.
*Develop training goals and objectives; write and edit courses; create and/or secure supporting learning activities and materials; design and create presentation materials including PowerPoint files and training manuals; build assessments and develop digital content from source materials in suitable media format.
