Senior Mortgage Documentation Administrator
(Full-time, Permanent Position)
The Senior Mortgage Documentation Administrator reviews mortgage application documents by assessing the associated risk within the companys policies and procedures. This position is responsible for fulfilling the conditions required to fulfil mortgages.
Key Outcomes:
- The Sr Mortgage Documentation Administrator reviews and processes mortgage documents received in response to mortgage commitments, adhering to the Banks policies and procedures in order to meet Service Level Agreement (SLA)
- Works closely with the Residential Mortgage Underwriting Analyst on the day-to-day operation by reviewing and processing assigned documentation against loan requirements
- Advises the Residential Mortgage Underwriting Analyst of any changes or challenges to an open file for follow up with the Mobile Mortgage Specialist or Broker
- Maintains Service Level Agreements for documentation review including the timely and accurate update of LOS system
- Signs off all documents, ensuring risk levels are within tolerance and compliant with Concentras Risk Appetite Framework, Credit Risk Policies and Financing Guidelines
- Works with the business closing partner, to open and close files, order appraisals, request instructions, as well as respond to all requests by the business closing partner
- Works closely with the Financial Operations team to ensure timely funding of the deal
Qualifications:
- Completion of a diploma in business or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience in mortgage fulfillment or equivalent field
- Familiarity with reverse mortgages is beneficial but not essential
