Description

Position and Responsibilities
In this pivotal role you will be responsible for managing the lodging, catering and northern facilities category portfolio. Working closely with supply chain management business partners in our mining divisions, you will develop sourcing strategies for this category, manage contracts with and performance of Camecos preferred vendors, as well as maintain category expertise and market knowledge necessary to maximize value from periodic rate and service level negotiations.

As a key contributor to the strategic management of corporate spend, you will pursue value-creation opportunities and drive maximisation of the resulting benefits. Your change management skills will assist you in ensuring stakeholder collaboration and acceptance, and your experience in purchasing or supplier management will contribute to the overall success of the category strategy. In addition, there will be considerable overlap with the northern sites facility coordinators to support their on-site duties from time-to time.

This is a temporary term for up to 14 months.

Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
    Bachelors degree in commerce, business or a related field
    Five or more years of related experience in supply chain management, relationship management and/or project management, auditing, and inspections.
    Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
    Strong change management and negotiation expertise
