Job Summary
In this position, you will join a team that supports the marketing and communication needs of multiple departments within the WCB and WorkSafe. Project work will be varied and provide you the opportunity to work on a wide variety of areas that include marketing and communications, event management, social media, video production, design and branding, and public relations.

Qualifications
Two (2) years successfully completed post-secondary education in Business, Public Relations and/or Marketing
    
Minimum of four (4) years successful experience demonstrating the ability to do the following:

-Demonstrated ability to multitask and effectively prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
-Develop, plan and execute marketing and communications campaigns.
-Proven experience in managing strategic digital and social media platforms and campaigns.
-Broad understanding of advertising planning and management, and working with external vendors.
-Strong understanding of digital media marketing, social media and interpreting analytics.
-Solid understanding of media relations, media management, writing and coordinating news conferences.
-Creative eye with exposure to graphic design work and visual identity solutions.
-Strong written skills and proficiency in Canadian Press (CP) style.
-Experience in budget management.
-Familiar with video production and editing, along with editing software.
-Proficiency with Microsoft suite and SharePoint, and a familiarity with Adobe suite, WordPress and Drupal will be considered an asset.
