Reporting to the President of the firm, you will play an important role in providing leadership and support to a team of accountants, bookkeepers and admin staff who are responsible for the basic accounting and bookkeeping functions of our clients. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing accounting and taxation engagements while ensuring our client expectations are clearly understood and met.
You have:

The ability to budget time, delegate files and complete the final review process
Other important traits:
Has proven experience in a leadership role
Deep understanding of accounting principles, standards, and the Canadian Income Tax Act.
Experience in a small to medium sized firm preferred
Strong planning and organizational skills
Ability to communicate in a structured, professional, and organized manner
Open to receiving feedback
Team player
Experience Required:
A minimum of 4 years of experience in the field of accounting
A minimum of 3 years of experience in public practice
A minimum of 1 years of managerial experience
A valid CPA designation
