Description

As Senior Accountant, your accounting expertise
will contribute to the growth and financial integrity of a reputable Professional Consulting firm based in Regina, Saskatchewan

As the successful candidate, you will have a passion for business, and enjoy learning, challenge and career progression as part of an expanding organization.  

You will be responsible for full cycle accounting, including:
1.  Assist with the regular forecasting and annual budgeting processes. Provide financial analysis and recommendations, in conjunction with regular reporting, to assist in planning and decision making. Analyze costs and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and profitability.  
2.  Accounts receivable duties including invoicing of customers and other duties. Process A/R credit notes and payment receipts, provide A/R customer follow-up, petty cash processing and reconciliation.
3.  Monthly account reconciliations for all significant accounts.  Prepare monthly financial statements, calculate depreciation and ensure all regulatory filings are completed and submitted on a timely basis.  
4.  Maintain and enter payroll on a bi-weekly and monthly basis.
5.  Monthly adjusting entries as well as any recurring journal entries.  
6.  Provide support for monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements.  
7.  Collaborate with other departments, and work closely with the accounting clerk to ensure prompt and accurate processing of information.
8.   Ensure positive and productive working relationships with managers and employees are maintained within the company.  

REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Diploma/Degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.  Working towards a CPA designation is welcomed but not required for this role.
