Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Part Time Grocery Clerk (with supervisory duties) at our Food Store in Nipawin, SK.

Reporting to the Food Store Team Leader, Responsibilities for this position include the following:
Engage and interact with guests to create a positive shopping experience  in person, on the telephone and at the point of sale
Perform cashing duties, serve guests, pack groceries, stock shelves, face shelves and perform general housekeeping duties
Continually monitor code dates to ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf at all times; follow FIFO
Keep accurate records to support procedures and inventory management including completing paperwork required for claims, damages and shortages
Supervise the guest service / cashier area and perform opening and closing procedures as assigned; plan and organize the work of the supervisory shift and delegate to others as required
Demonstrate day to day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co operatives vision, mission, values, brand, and focus on safety

Who you are:

You have a grade 12 or equivalent experience; customer service experience is an asset
Youre well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum of supervision

You have POS experience and have the ability to work in a fast past, guest facing environment
You must be able to work mornings, afternoons, evenings and a weekend rotation
You must be able to plan and organize your own work and that of others, supervise others, and delegate to others
