Legacy Co-op is hiring an Assistant Petroleum Manager for our Petroleum Department at our Agro Centre in Yorkton, SK.

What youll do:

Reporting to the Petroleum Manager, the Assistant Petroleum Manager will assist with the planning and day to day execution of petroleum operations in bulk delivery and cardlock to meet or exceed budgeted goals and objectives and is responsible for providing leadership, direction and oversight to Petroleum department staff.

You will be responsible for building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions
You will assist with overseeing the maintenance and management of all cardlock/keylock sites
You will assist in the Petroleum Manager in all aspects of operations including managing expenses, budgets, annual planning, procurement, customer contact, and goal setting.
You will ensure all safety and environmental policies and procedures are followed and maintained.

Who you are:

You are looking for a retail career in Petroleum and:

Have a grade 12 education
3 years of supervisory experience in leading a team.
2 years experience in a petroleum environment
Have or demonstrate the ability to obtain extensive experience and/or knowledge in Petroleum Operations with respect to sales and marketing
Must possess and maintain class 5 drivers license. 1A licence preferred.
You are proficient in Microsoft Office and are able to manage computer files efficiently
You have the ability to identify key issues and creatively and strategically overcome internal challenges and/or obstacles
You are experienced with coaching and providing feedback to other team members
You have the ability to control operational costs, maximize operational efficiency, and improve sales and growth margin
You are flexible to work various hours and on-call as required
