Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full Time Pro Tackle and Hunting Clerk (Home Centre Clerk) at our Home Centre location in Nipawin, SK.

Reporting to the Assistant Hardware Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen our Co-operatives vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
To be knowledgeable with firearms, archery, firearm safety, ammunition, fishing merchandise and hunting/fishing licenses
To assist guests on the sales floor with product selection in hunting, fishing and outdoor adventure merchandise
To order, receive and stock merchandise as assigned
To follow all procedures with relation to sales of firearms and complete all documentation with precision
To have a good working understanding of the POS system
To perform day to day duties in the Home Centre and Gas Bar as assigned
To be familiar with all Lake Country Coop Policies and Procedures
Perform other duties as assigned

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Customer Service and:
You have a grade 12 or equivalent experience, have customer service experience and hold a valid P.A.L.
You have both firearm and archery knowledge; you have diversified hunting and fishing knowledge; hardware knowledge is an asset
You have a valid drivers license, are capable of heavy lifting on an ongoing basis, and are willing to obtain forklift operators certification
Youre well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum of supervision
Youre honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do
Applicant must be able to work opening and closing shifts and a weekend rotation
