Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full Time Sales Agronomist (1 year term  Mat Leave) at our Agro location in, Shellbrook, SK.

Reporting to the Team Leader Agro responsibilities for this position include the following:
Engage and interact with members and guests to create a positive experience- in person, on the telephone and at the point of sale
Sales of crop inputs, nutrition products and farm equipment through the development of customer and supplier relationships
Field scouting and the collection of soil samples
Make chemical and agronomic recommendations, showcase equipment an complete follow-up calls
Receive, distribute and load fertilizer and crop protection products
Maintain environmental compliance
Maintain inventory control, ordering an data reporting through in house programming
Adhere to all merchandising standards, marketing efforts including pricing, policy and procedure, equipment maintenance, house-keeping and loss prevention policies.
Demonstrate the day-to-day behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen Lake Country Co-operatives vison, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
Other duties as assigned
