Description

Under the direct supervision of Director of Properties, the Residential and Commercial Properties Maintenance will complete internal, external duties and upkeep of YWCA Regina properties to ensure that they are well maintained, and in orderly condition. This team member will work closely with Director of Properties to ensure projects are well supported and proactively maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited:
Basic maintenance (building repair, basic mechanical and plumbing problem solving etc.)
Regular building and systems checks and inspections
Exterior and interior repairs and regular yard maintenance
Provide appropriate seasonal maintenance for the YWCA buildings
Work on call shift on a rotational basis
Budget and spending tracking
Skills and Ability
Problem Solving and redirection
Strong Communication
Good time management
Detail Oriented
General knowledge of entry level building repair, drywall repair, plumbing, carpentry etc.
Experience using the Microsoft Office and Google platforms;
Skills in problem-solving, managing multiple demands, and responding appropriately to incidents and needs as they arise;
Ability to prioritize tasks and adjust schedule to meet association needs-flexibility
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Basic knowledge of building systems and operations
Ability to perform physical labour that involves movement for the majority of shift and able to lift items over 50lbs
Project, disaster, and crisis cleaning and response
