SafeSmart Accesswith locations in USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Canadahas been a global provider and of portable and compliant height access equipment since 2007. With strategic locations in Ontario, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia we are well positioned Canada-wide.
SafeSmart Access main operations are based in Emerald Park, SK just outside Regina where 90% of inventory and operational activities are performed.
We are currently looking for a self-motivated and detail orientated Procurement & Fulfilment Manager, possessing a demonstrated track record in inventory management and fulfilment, and strong skillsets in purchasing and negotiation.
Key responsibilities will include:
Manage inbound and outbound logistics and maintain service contracts with key logistics providers
Manages all purchasing activities to maintain minimum stock levels.
Manages vendor contracts and ongoing communications
Manages inventory levels, placement and cycle counts as necessary
Handles international shipments (in and out) including customs related documentation
Liase with sales group where necessary to manage customer expectations
Manage 2 3rd party inventory locations
The ideal candidate will:
Be self-motivated and possesses excellent organizational and communication skills (written and oral).
Be confident, assertive, and credible.
Demonstrate a proven ability to strategically organize own time
Have minimum of 2 to 4 years experience in a related role
Ideally have past experience with ERP system or related inventory management platforms
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a college or university degree preferred, or an acceptable combination of education and relevant experience.
