JDS Building Supply is a small, family-oriented construction material provider that specializes in the sale and distribution of various wall cladding materials. We are seeking to fill a full-time warehouse/office support position. If you are organized, have a strong work ethic, are self driven and enjoy working in a small, personable, work environment we look forward to speaking with you! We are looking for a dedicated and energetic individual that wants to grow with our company, and are open to providing this individual with additional training and career opportunities in the future as they become required or available.
Position Responsibilities:
Inventory Control
Customer service - internal and external
Shipping and receiving
Minor Building and equipment maintenance
Load and unload trucks/clients with warehouse equipment
Delivery of materials to client jobsites
Warehouse/Office organization and cleanliness
Processing of orders and paperwork to ensure proper material is leaving and arriving at the warehouse
Qualities we are looking for:
Prior experience in a shipping/receiving position within a warehouse
Prior experience in a trade or handling of construction materials
Ability to lift material that weights up to 100lbs
Ability to self-direct, plan, and organize accordingly
General knowledge of computers
Familiarity with forklift operation
Exceptional customer service skills
Hours are Monday to Friday 7:30 to 4:30 with the possibility of some weekend work during peak season.
