La Pouponnire Cooperative Daycare is looking for a motivated, energetic caring worker.
This position is a CASUAL -- possible hours Monday-Friday 7am until close.
Job Requirements:
-Early Childhood Certificate or Diploma, with the willingness to work towards it.
-First Aid & CPR Level C Certificate or willingness to attain
-Criminal Record Check complete with Vulnerable Sector Check.
Food safety, or willingness to attain.
Skills:
-Knowledge and ability to program within a play-based curriculum.
-Encourage child-led play and exploration while building on their interests.
-Demonstrates knowledge of appropriate child development.
-Provide supervision and guidance during daily activities.
-Work well with/without supervision.
-Good work ethic.
-Keen ability in communicating effectively with colleagues, Families and their children.
-Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
