The Buffalo Street Bistro is opening this summer and we are looking for a Counter Attendant to lead the Guest Experience at the take out counter and ensure our Guests have everything they need when taking home their order. Counter Attendants are responsible for the accuracy of the entire order as well as maintaining a positive and Guest focused attitude through the entire experience. They demonstrate and believe in championing a fun and safe work environment and contribute to a thriving workplace culture.

Requirements
    Welcome and promptly attend to guests
    Serve food and beverages to guests making recommendations if needed
    Leads by example and works alongside their team members
    Achieves goals through strong organizational skills and effective time management
    Share your menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requests
    Record transactions in the POS system correctly and promptly
    Ensure that the orders are safely packaged and all condiments, napkins etc. are included
    Maintain a clean workspace, complete closing duties and re-stock supplies as needed
    Assist servers during slow periods by prepping cutlery, filling salt and pepper etc.
    Answer phones in a professional manner, take orders and answer questions
    Serve as point of contact between the restaurant and the delivery driver
    This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs.
    Standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time
    Ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform

Qualifications
    Great conversational skills and teamwork-oriented
    Positive outlook and outgoing personality
    Previous front of house experience (preferred)
