Description

Duties:
    Performs janitorial and cleaning services such as:
    Sweeping, washing, and waxing floors
    Vacuums carpeted areas
    Cleans public and private washrooms and change rooms
    Removes waste
    Performs outdoors grounds maintenance
    Performs snow and ice removal
    Performs labour tasks on maintenance projects including:
    Lifting, carrying, and placing materials
    Operating hand tools
    Operating equipment such as floor cleaning and surfacing equipment and grounds maintenance equipment
    Operating power tools
    Performs set-up and take-down for special events
    Maintains assigned tools and equipment
    Logs, records, and reports pertinent information such as receipt of materials, time sheets, maintenance and repairs needed, and tasks performs
    Promotes and maintains positive public relations
(Other duties as assigned).

Education
    Grade 12 or GED equivalent
    Valid Class 5 Drivers License
    WHIMIS
    First Aid and CPR C
