Description

The SK Polytech Faculty Association serves approximately 1500 members located in Moose Jaw, Prince Albert, Regina and Saskatoon.

The Admin Assistant is a Full Time ongoing position with the intention of transitioning to the Executive Assistant position.
Under the guidance of the Executive Assistant, and responsible to Executive Council through the President, the Admin Assistant provides reception and administrative support to SPFA operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
    Reception and administrative coordination and support for SPFA activities
    Support board and committee meetings, & website
    Bookkeeping - GL, AR, AP and payroll
    Co-ordinate and maintain SPFA communications and documents
    Develop and maintain sensitive, diplomatic and strong working relationships
    Participate collaboratively as a member of the SPFA team
    Maintain office supplies and equipment
    Coordinate travel arrangements
    Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
    Bookkeeping experience - GL, AP, AR and payroll.  Knowledge of SAGE would be beneficial.
    Proficiency in all administrative systems
    Self-motivated with exceptional standards of professional integrity, ethics, and confidentiality
    Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
    High attention to detail, proactive, proficient organizational skills with demonstrated ability to deal effectively with multiple priorities from a variety of sources to meet deadlines
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
    Proficient writing, editing, proofreading skills and minute-taking

Salary and benefits are provided as per the FASU/SPFA Collective Bargaining Agreement (2021-2024).
