Description

The Saskatchewan SPCA is the provincial animal welfare organization working to prevent animal cruelty and promote the welfare of animals and their people.

The Capital Campaign Manager will implement and manage all aspects of a Capital Campaign, and be responsible for campaign strategy including solicitation priorities, managing prospect lists, developing and executing cultivation plans and solicitation strategies.

The Capital Campaign Manager reports directly to the Executive Director.

Duties & Responsibilities
    Conduct a feasibility study, develop campaign strategy, and set campaign sub-goals.
    Provide leadership to assure that campaign communication plans are met.
    Identify and cultivate steering committee and board members.
    Plan and run steering committee meetings.
    Manage visits and solicitation with campaign volunteers.
    Identify prospects on the individual, corporation, and foundation levels.
    Create and edit campaign communications.
    Develop, track, and implement donor recognition initiatives.
    Prepare and submit monthly progress reports.

Qualifications and Competencies
    A university degree or diploma in a relevant area of study (marketing, media relations, communications)
    Experience with conducting campaigns from initial planning through execution and post-event follow up
    Experience with a successful capital campaign
    Clear verbal & written communications skills
    Interpersonal skills
    Teamwork

    Confidentiality
    Creative thinking
    Valid drivers licence
    Ability to travel and access to a reliable vehicle
    CFRE/ACFRE accreditation an asset

Position will include occasional provincial travel and some evenings and weekends.  Satisfactory criminal record check required.

Potential remote work/work from home option may be available.
