Facility: Public Health
Job Description: The Public Health Inspector is accountable for the delivery of public health services in the former Heartland Health Region. Program delivery involves inspection and monitoring of drinking water, food, public accommodation, housing, public and recreational facilities, sewage and waste disposal. The program requires extensive legislation application and enforcement, health hazard assessment and abatement, communicable disease prevention and investigation, health promotion and education.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Environmental Health
Certificate in Public Health Inspection (Canada), CPHI
Valid Drivers License
Experience
One year experience in Public Health Inspection preferred including knowledge and skill in the practice, methods and techniques of public health inspection
