Position and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the delivery of safety-related training to site personnel. This will include, but not limited to, delivering training through a variety of methods, providing coaching and feedback, evaluating on-the-job performance while identifying training gaps, and providing general support to the training team as required. You will also maintain good communication and co-operation with various sites, departments and stakeholders to ensure regulatory training requirements and operational goals are achieved.

Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent
Diploma or certificate in a related field
Minimum seven years of relevant work experience
Equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered
Must be able to work underground
Strong presentation and communication skills are essential
Strong computer skills and knowledge of computer programs (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Work a 2 week in/2 week out rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Assets:
Previous industrial and underground work experience
Certification as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional
Understand all aspects of the Systematic Approach to Training and be able to perform these functions
